What should I do if my Pass is lost or stolen?
Can I get a new Eurail Pass if it's lost or stolen?
Yes! If you lose your device with your mobile Pass on it, please get in touch with our customer service team as soon as you can. They can help you load your Pass onto a new device. If you want to board a train in the meantime you’ll need to purchase a separate ticket for your journey. We, unfortunately, cannot offer any refunds for this.
No! If your Eurail Pass is lost or stolen it can't be replaced (unless you bought Pass Protection* before it was discontinued), meaning you can't get a new copy with the same Pass number. You will either have to buy a new Pass or replacement train tickets to continue travelling. If you bought Pass Protection* at the time of ordering your Eurail Pass with Eurail.com, these extra travel costs are covered up to the remaining value of your Eurail Pass.
You need to follow these simple steps if you're eligible for replacement train tickets with Pass Protection*.
If you bought Pass Protection*, you can order a new Eurail Pass on this website and have it shipped to your hotel or hostel address in Europe. You could also buy it at a Eurail Aid Office, or purchase point-to-point tickets at the train station.
*For sale until 3 October 2022
